If I'm not in my mind
Then I'm out on the beach
Where our love's in my reach
If i'm not back by dawn
Then I must think it's still midnight
and I'l be back before the sun's first light
If I'm not back in a day
then i's stuck in the sand where the tide rose
or I'm stullsinging and humming this prose
If i'm not back at all
then i drown in your sea and hear of love
or i flew away with a smile like a dove
