My Body....

"I'm drawing a cute picture of my Mirexa laying down. Then, I thought she was too skinny to be me. I made her hips a little larger, even though I already draw large hips and thighs anyways. I thought her chest was too large, so I fixed it. Then, she looked like a perfectly "large-in-all-the-right-places" girl, like a plus sized model. Then I was thinking, I don't have a plus sized model's body. So I fixed Mirexa's body until it looked exactly like mine. I keep staring at it, and it makes me self conscious, because I know if I post it online people'll think she looks "fat" because of the way I drew it. I think I made the curves and pinches of her skin in the correct way a natural body curves and pinches at some points. But I'm not fat. So why is this a big deal? I don't think it should be. I always say I'm happy with my body, until I have to draw it. So I guess that means I'm not happy with my body? Hmm. "

So I put up this facebook status while drawing this picture. It's the closest I've ever gotten to drawing my actual body type. I didn't want to post it at first, because I was scared of people's fat comments. But you know what?

Fuck their comments. It's my body. If I don't like it, I can change it.
